SYNOPSIS
 

Son of James and Isobel Robb Peden of Sorn, East Ayrshire, Scotland

SOLDIER: American Revolution, supplemental application in the SAR by Christos Christou, Jr. #130571. Also other members of the DAR and SAR have joined on his service. Patriot who furnished supplies to the army, listed in Capt. Lewis' Co from 1782 to 1785 per tax lists. Also John Pedan's claim for payment for 465 pounds of flour impressed on Aug 17 and Aug 30 1780 by the Comm. of Provisions for the use of the Army May 1780 was validated at a meeting of the Botetourt Co Court.

PROBATE
: John Pedan plaintiff vs. Ephraim Wilson defendant 1783 (John won) John Pedan & Mary of Montgomery Co sold to James Forrest 1801 120 acres of land which he had purchased in 1780.

DEED: John Pedan and Mary of Montgomery Co sold to James Forrest 1801 85 acres of land which he had purchased in 1785.
